»And you shall count seven weeks of years, seven times seven years, so that the time of the seven weeks of years shall be to you forty-nine years. Then you shall send abroad the loud trumpet on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the day of atonement you shall send abroad the trumpet throughout all your land.«

(Lev. 25:8-17)

Rare Passion is the most exclusive fizz in the world created in the artisanal French manner from the very rare grape variety Rumeni plavec of the finest vintage 2009 and was produced for the celebration of my jubilee year. 1964 bottles will be released once in my lifetime on April 11, 2014.

Steven Spurrier, Wine Connoisseur of International Renown, Organiser, Judgement of Paris: Your wine, in the very elegant bottle, arrived last week and I opened it over the weekend. It is very, very good. Below are the notes I made, but this was with friends just before dinner after a long day tasting at the Decanter Fine Wine Encounter: "Pale white-yellow, tiny bubbles, quite discreet fizziness, really fine white flower and white fruit nose, seemingly blanc de blancs, lovely floral fruit on the palate, beautifully lifted and perfect acidity, the florality and fragrance stay to the end. A very well-made wine, good vineyard and excellent cellar work, will seduce by its vivacious charm, elegance and an excitingly dry finish. My view is that, with the well-balanced fruit/acidity, this wine will have become deliciously complex in time for your 50th birthday in 2014."
